  • Basic Orientation Plus Contractor Training

This is a 4.5 hour course which was developed by the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC) offered in many locations across the country. The purpose of this orientation is to inform the new contractor employee of general safety rules, regulations, practices and principles associated with the construction and contract maintenance/services industry, as well as re-informing and updating the experienced employee.

Course Completion

After completion of the classroom training, a validated written test in English, containing 50 questions is administered and each student must be able to answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a photo I.D. will be issued to the participant.

Cost & Details

Cost is $40 per student for OSC member companies and $65 for non-member companies. Pre-payment is required.

Courses are currently offered at the OSC office in Tulsa. Participants must bring two valid forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID to check-in. To register for this course you must have an ID# assigned to you.

  • Sinclair Site Specific Safety Training

The Sinclair Tulsa Refining Company believes that through the continued commitment and effort of everyone, all accidents can be eliminated. The purpose of the site specific orientation is to provide for an overview of the most common health, safety and environmental requirements specific to the Sinclair Tulsa Refining Company.

Course Completion

This course may be taught either by "instructor led" or via "computer based." After completion, a written test in English is administered and each student must be able to answer 80% of the questions correctly. Upon successful completion of the course, the Sinclair Tulsa Refinery Company will issue a photo ID at their gate.

Cost & Details

Cost is $15 per student for OSC member companies and $22.50 for non-member companies. Prepayment is required for non-member companies.

  • Plant Performance Services (P2S)

Course Completion

This is approximately a 2 hour course and is "computer based". Each student must be able to answer a minimum of 80% of the written questionsÊin EnglishÊcorrectly to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a photo I.D. will be issued to the participant.

Cost is $20 per student.
