This is a 4.5 hour course which was developed by the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC) offered in many locations across the country. The purpose of this orientation is to inform the new contractor employee of general safety rules, regulations, practices and principles associated with the construction and contract maintenance/services industry, as well as re-informing and updating the experienced employee.
After completion of the classroom training, a validated written test in English, containing 50 questions is administered and each student must be able to answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a photo I.D. will be issued to the participant.
Cost is $40 per student for OSC member companies and $65 for non-member companies. Pre-payment is required.
Courses are currently offered at the OSC office in Tulsa. Participants must bring two valid forms of ID, one of which must be a photo ID to check-in. To register for this course you must have an ID# assigned to you.

This is a computer-based refresher course, developed by the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils (ARSC), to remind contractor employees of general safety rules, regulations, practices and principles associated with the construction and contract maintenance/service industry, as well as inform the experienced employee of any changes that have been made in those rules, regulations and or standards. This class is only for those who have first taken the live classroom BOP class. Estimated time to complete the course is 2 hours.
After completion of the computer-based training, a computer-based test, in English, containing 50 questions will be administered and each student must be able to answer at least 70% of the questions correctly to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a photo ID will be issued to the participant.
Cost is $40 per student for OSC member companies and $65 for non-member companies. Pre-payment is required for non-member companies.
Courses are currently offered in the OSC office in Tulsa, on Wednesday and Friday, in two sessions. Check-in for the morning will begin at 7 a.m. and no one will be allowed to check-in later that 8:00 a.m. Check-in for the afternoon session will begin at 1:00 p.m. and no one will be allowed to check-in later that 1:30 p.m.

We are unable to validate the Government issued "TWIC", and it is not accepted as a form of ID at this time.
In addition, all students must show their current or recently expired (no more than 30 days) BOP card upon registration. Failure to produce any of these three items will result in the student not being allowed to take the BOPR.

This is approximately a 2 hour course and is "computer based". Each student must be able to answer a minimum of 80% of the written questionsÊin EnglishÊcorrectly to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, a photo I.D. will be issued to the participant.
