Training Course Details

Course Title: 40 Hr. Hazwoper

OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 requires that workers on hazardous waste sites receive 40 hours of training. Our four-day Hazwoper course, instructed by a CSP and CIH with “real” field experience and knowledge, is designed to help you meet OSHA’s training requirements. Workers and supervisors that handle and work with hazardous waste will gain an understanding of the hazards they are exposed to and how to protect themselves by use of PPE and engineering and administrative controls. Our classes are very “hands-on” --- and now also include Bioterrorism & WMD as part of the curriculum. Participants will even enjoy some hazwoper basketball!
